When does it get easier???

When oh when does it get easy being a mom? I ask this silly question because last night we had a little scare (although I made a bigger deal out of it than it really was)... Logan was "helping" me make dinner and playing outside, well I was getting something in the kitchen and he headed outside, all of a sudden I hear him screaming. I respond with "what's wrong" and he is still screaming so I am running outside and I see him by his swing set on the ground trying to get up. Once I get closer (cause it was hard to see as it was getting dark) I see blood running down his little face and he is crying. I am running him into the bathroom so that we can better assess the situation and he is really bleeding. Well come to find out it was just a bloody nose but it looked way worse than that! I guess (from putting the pieces together from what Logan said) he was trying to swing on his on his stomach on the swing and was going face first toward the swing. Well obviously he missed the swing and went face first into the rocks. OUCH!!!!

Now I know that I made a bigger deal out of it than it thankfully was because I just couldn't really see what was wrong. I didn't know what exactly happened and it really scared me. Thankfully within 15 minutes he was up and playing all over again. Boys will be boys.

So my question that I already know the answer to is: does the worrying ever stop??? And YES I know the answer is NO!!!!

  1. Poor Baby, that had to hurt. But to your question, the worrying never stops, even when he gets big like his daddy!

  2. Poor Logan! :( I hope he is alright! I remember when Megs took a tumble like that and blacked her eye for the first time! I thought I'd never forgive myself for letting that happen. You're right boys will be boys, or in Megs case girls will be girls (HEHE). As for the worrying nope it never stops as a matter of fact I think it gets worse as they get older, and as for easier? Nope that doesn't happen either! But hang in there! Remember you have people around who are here to help you ease your worrying and laugh and cry with you! :)
