Our weekend!

This past weekend was fun packed (as usual): we went to the County Fair! It was so much fun! But the BEST part is that we entered stuff into the fair (crafts and such), mainly to get in free but we actually won! I am proud to announce that I won 1st place for some Valentine's reef I made from scratch (pictures to follow at a later date: it was sent down to Phx to the State Fair) but what I am even more proud of is that Logan won 2nd place for BOTH of his paintings. Logan was so excited that he had a ribbon like Mommy (although I don't know if he truely understood). Actually, we all won in some way (and no we didn't win because we were the ONLY ones who entered, there was some good competition); my little sister Dani won a bunch of ribbons; my mom got a couple of 1st places and so did my sister Brandi; Domi even won 1st place on some of her drawings. While at the Fair we rode some of the rides, which Logan LOVED! He even went on a roller coaster with his Auntie Bridgette (Auntie Dani went with Domi). When is was finally time to leave Logan was THAT KID that was kicking and screaming because he did NOT want to leave.

Nana even let Logan play a game. Here is my HE-MAN swinging the hammer to make the ball ding (he actually made it ding on his own). He won a monkey!

On Sunday we had my family over for breakfast and we were going to decorate for Halloween (although it was too windy to do that). The girls and I made homemade oatmeal raisin cookies YUM YUM!


All in all it was a great weekend with family and friends (although it was mostly family).
