So for a couple of months now my friends have been planning this shower and now I am so excited to share this with you!
See, I did not really want a big fuss, even though I feel each child deserves a party and to be celebrated since this is our 3rd baby its kind of weird to have a baby shower (even though we kind of needed it since I got rid of a lot of items because um we were done lol). I also didn't want any of my friend to spend a lot of money on us but I am SOOOO grateful that I have amazing friend to not only throw a special celebration for this baby but also sweet friends to COME and celebrate her!
Here is the rundown of my sweet friends (which I am SOOOOOOOO grateful for) ~
Brandi, my sister was the coordinator and planner (this was HUGE because this is not my sister's persona). The theme was totally her idea; which I was a little disappointed because the ladybug theme is THE theme I was planning for Peanut's 2nd birthday but as Brandi said, I can always redo that theme (um yeah right lol) and right now she is into a certain character and that character only works when she is this young so I should go that right. AHHHH I hate it when others are right lol. So Brandi was also in charge of designating who did what (sort of, I helped her with that). She also decided what games we did (4 total) as well as prizes for games.
Lacy, my best friend (and might as well be my sister)/my oldest friend; she was in charge of decorations (balloons ~ have I said how amazing she does with balloons??? Cause she can do some cute things!) Lacy also was so sweet and provided the location of the party; her church. Between Lacy and Brandi they made sure that certain things were so special! Lacy was also in charge of hosting (so to speak, she is a great public speaker which Brandi is not so Lacy did that).
Tina, my coworker who has become a dear, dear friend (she also helped Brandi throw Peanut's shower) was in charge of invitations (with a little VERY little (because everyone DID NOT want me to help at all BOO), some decor, 2 games and banners. She did an amazing job with all of these things... SUPER CUTE!!! Tina also hosted 2 of the games
Heather, one of my newer friends (which we met almost 2 years ago when Ry coached soccer for the first times) who has become a VERY close friend was in charge of food. I must say here this baby shower had some of the MOST AMAZING food ever! So freaking yummy!
Stephanie, again one of my newer friends (we met through Heather and also our sons have been on the same Tball and soccer team over the last year), again very quickly became a dear friend... she instigated all of this in the beginning. She also helped make some of the food and gave decoration ideas.
Me, well like I said above they really didn't let me do much (even though I really wanted to)... so instead I did put together 2 of the games: the Ultrasound game (made from our sweet lil' lady's actual ultrasounds) and the candy bar game (which I made to match the theme and invitation ~ graphics were provided by Tina of course). I also handmade all of the thank you favors for my guests (which was appropriate since I SHOULD be thanking them... anyways those were hand dipped chocolate covered pretzels can we say YUM?) I also provided the table centerpieces (flowers) since I wanted all of my sweet hostesses to take that as part of their thank you.
Ok so now you know who did what. Now see what they did ~
(Pictures were taken by Chariese Hammer of RED Photography) and remember Tina (aka TW Creative Designs) did all of the paper decorations
