Because this was something that Gramps used to do with us we really wanted to do it this year since now it has a whole new meaning. Sadly Ry wasn't feeling 100% so we got to the parade and had to leave early.
I left the kiddos with my sister in hopes I would make it back in time to see them both run in the boot race... sadly I only made it back for Bubba's run. But I did talk to Peanut right as she crossed the finish line (next year!)
The kids ran in memory of Gramps and to mark this occasion I made them custom shirts:
On to the race pictures... Bubba was able to run in the same heat as Domi and James (for some reason Seth was in the first heat???):

The kids may have not won, but that wasn't the point! I am so happy we had them run in memory of Gramps and they will continue to do that every year! And hopefully one year they will win!
