He did! The very first thing he told Grandma was that they had to go to the store and get this firetruck that pumps and he can ride. He knew all about it but none of us could figure out what it really was, we had never seen this toy. While we were at Wal-Mart I got a clue as to what it was (our friend Cael had gotten one for his 1st Birthday); sure enough that was exactly what he wanted! But we still did not get it when we were at the store (he does not need to get something every time he goes to the store).
Then the very next morning he saw the commercial on TV and was jumping up and down telling Grandma and Grandpa that was the firetruck! He just kept reminding EVERYONE that he NEEDED this truck.
Last night at almost 11 pm Grandma comes to Ry and I and says that she had to go get the firetruck for him to surprise him in the morning... so off Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa went to Wal-Mart. THEY WERE ALL IN THEIR PJS! It was so funny. And at midnight Daddy and Grandpa were putting this thing together.
Logan woke up just like any other morning and went into Grandma and Grandpa's room to say good morning. From what I was told Grandpa asked Logan if he wanted to go watch TV and he said yes... off into the living room they went. Logan saw the firetruck sitting in there and was so surprised then ran into the kitchen and said "what else?" I guess he thought it was Christmas or Easter or something (LOL). Then he HAD to come and show me... waking me up with excitement he tells me I have to come and see. So I went out to see what was going on and he told me how excited he was. SO SO SO cute!
Then of course to make the ensemble complete Grandma had to get the fire hat for both Domi and Logan.
Needless to say, they have been outside for most of the day playing firemen (and fire girl). Yeah for hours of entertainment!
