Birthday! ~

Today... Brandi and I are 27!

This morning was absolutely PERFECT! Ryan woke me up at midnight to kiss me and tell me Happy Birthday... he was the 1st! Then this morning Bubba started singing to me, it was so cute! Then there was the beautiful singing from Mom and John! Not to mention the wonderful phone calls from my parents and sister along with all of the text messages throughout the day from other family and friends! I feel so loved LOL.

I sent this video to Brandi this morning... how cute is he?

I am so lucky to have 2 of the most wonderful men in my life... Ryan and Bubba. It was so cute, last week Ryan decided that he HAD to go get me my birthday present (I gave him no direction as to what I wanted because being pregnant I am just not feeling the whole birthday thing). So off to the mall he and Bubba went... I was at work and when Ry called me he told me that he was letting Bubba play in the play area and asked me to meet them there (since it was getting close to dinner time and time for me to be off). I met them... first thing Bubba does when he sees me is yell... "Mommy I got you a present" then he rushed over to the stroller and pulled my present out of the bottom. It went everywhere (I had to chase it). So cute!

What was the present you ask???
My boys decided to go to Victoria's Secret and purchase my all time favorite perfume... Dream Angles "Heavenly". But not only was it the large gift set for the Heavenly but there were not 1 but 5(!) lip glosses! And some heart shaped mints. Then I realized that Bubba was pulling out another bag from the stroller... this time from Bath and Body Works. He had gotten me another gift set (again my other favorite) Sweet pea lotion, spray and body wash.

Ok so at this point I am a little overwhelmed by scents! Ryan was so cute because his explanation was... "I noticed that you were almost out of your Sweet pea and your Heavenly perfumes" he was completely right (and observant I might add) about the Sweet pea, but not so much about my Heavenly (my Dad had gotten me some for Christmas, it broke my heart to tell Ry this because I saw the look on his face of how proud he was that he got me all of my favorites). It also broke my heart to tell Ry that there was literally NO way I could go through this much scents and lip gloss in a reasonable time, plus the lip gloss was all colors that I wouldn't wear... he said he purchased them by flavor. SO CUTE and he tried so hard! LOVE HIM!!! But he completely understood where I was coming from and insisted that we go return them to Victoria's and get something that I would use (speaking about the lip gloss). So we went back... first thing Bubba says as we go into the store "Mommy we already here... got you a present!" All in all, I actually ended up returning everything to Victoria's and getting scents that Ry and I picked out together (so now I am not overwhelmed with just the one scent since I have such a large bottle already) and I got 2 lip glosses and a little something for my hubby (since I benefit when he smells good, makes me want to get close and sniff him lol).

Ry is so sweet that he really paid attention to what I like and really tried, that was the best present ever!

For our birthday Ry invited our parents over (and Brandi and Domi) and made steaks for dinner! SO YUMMY! We also had some friends (the Lauer's) over for cake. We both got some nice presents from the parents (thanks again Mom and Dad) as well as some beautiful flowers from Ry and Bubba! I also got a beautiful flower tree from Domi and Brandi.

Overall it was a WONDERFUL birthday (even though I was super busy at work... everyone made up for it this evening). Now I am completely beat! I haven't been this tired in a long time!

Although I must say, I am one lucky girl to have all of these wonderful people in my life!

It was so good to spend our birthday together, for some reason I cannot really remember the last time we were together for our birthday, but I do remember the very 1st time we were apart on our birthday (that was only 6 years ago).
