The sweetest thing~

I must share because it really touched my heart...

GOD is good, SO SO SO GOOD!

Tonight Mr. T came into the living room after playing the Wii and watching some Netflix and sits right next to me on the couch and turns to me and says so innocently... "mommy I want to read your Bible." I immediately responded with "ok, go get it!" ~ I must note here that he knows what the Bible is due to us attending church, but never has he asked me to read it to him... typically when he wants me to read to him its one of his books.

So he ran to go get my Bible (which on another note, was a sweet sweet gift for Christmas from my hubby where he got it personalized (I have always wanted one like that) and put a butterfly next to my name on the front cover as well as got me his favorite verse PURPLE carrying case)... he handed it right to me and sat as close as he possibly could. Then I stopped... not because I didn't want to read to him but because 1) I had NO IDEA which book to read to him and 2) I wondered WHY he wanted to read the Bible (I mean seriously... this is a book that adults sometimes have a hard time understanding let along a 4 year old). So I asked!

He looked up at me and said with a grin... "because I want God to lead us" ~ OH MY!!! He totally gets it!!!

So we read Psalms (and he wasn't too happy because it was too short) lol.

How sweet is that??? HE (in heaven above) and he (my son) amaze me every day!
