Dear 2011, welcome 2012

Dear 2011,

Thank you for being so good to us as your friend 2010 was. I just hope that 2012 will be just as good!

2011, you have provided yet again so many blessings for us... awesome family, good friends, new experiences, HUGE milestones... you did not disappoint us at all!

In January you showed us that our precious Peanut has a voice of her own and gave her first words to us; although in January you did provide some speed bumps that we won't soon forget, our beloved Nana Hamilton went to be with Jesus. January was a trying month! BUT January ended with a BANG with my sweet hubby turning 30! Where I tried very hard to surprise him with friends, family and an awesome time ~ Success numero uno!

In February you provided us with yet another sweet milestone for our sweet Peanut and fun times with our Mr. T's school.

In March another new opportunity provided itself when Mr. T and I went to the dentist for the very first time and Mr. T started playing Tee Ball for the very first time ~ again providing us another opportunity to make some great new friends. Thank you 2011! You also gave me the courage to step out a little in March and start my own little business venture with RAMBER Designs, I just wish I could get more business from it... BUT THANK YOU to my supporters who have hired me! I have so many more ideas and creativeness so hopefully your friend, 2012 will be better to me in this aspect!

In April, 2011 you gave us the best time with a super fun celebration of our dear sweet Mr. T's birthday, Star Wars themed of course! This was a blast! So much that he is STILL talking about it! However we again had a minor disappointment in April where we tried to adopt and give a good home to another family member, Evie but she "didn't work out". ~ oh well 2011, we tired here!

In May, 2011 you started off perfect with a fun family trip (afternoon) to the Phoenix Zoo! This was so much fun, a new experience for our sweet kiddos. We also had another fun family trip (afternoon) to our very first (firsts for both kiddos AND Daddy) MLB: Arizona Diamonbacks game. 2011 you didn't disappoint here because not only was it our first game BUT we also got to walk the field due to Mr. T's experience in Tee Ball, something we will soon NOT forget: success numero dos! Oh yeah and Brandi and I turned 28!

2011, in June you brought us more sweet blessings when we dedicated our precious children to the Lord above, something that has been a long time coming! Thank you for this precious, PRICELESS blessing! You, like 2010 allowed for a successful surgery for our precious Peanut, which again not disappointing she has not had another ear infection to date. In June, you gave us one priceless year with our Peanut, of which we celebrated with family and sweet friends. Ry and I celebrated 6 years of marriage, which thank you for 2011, because at times I wasn't sure we would make it but again 2011 you showed me that love and hard work trumps everything! And 2011, in June you gave me (and mainly our whole family) a huge blessing when we started attending church! I believe it was in June that you also gave my hubby a change of heart...

In July you gave us a shock which we wouldn't find out until the beginning of September. You also gave my hubby the best opportunity of all, A NEW JOB!!! Thank you 2011 (and hard work) for this awesome opportunity for this career move and experience. Also, you provided another opportunity for our sweet Peanut to be with Nana during the day AND her biggest milestone... no more PT!!! Success(es) numero tres and quarto!!!

In August it was bittersweet, our Peanut started walking, our Mr. T started skateboarding ~ oh the joys of new bruised and scrapes!! Success numero cinco!

In September you shocked us with the news of our new little surprise!!! 2011, you became very trying for me (and Ry) here when we found out, but soon because that is God's plan for us you gave us overwhelming joy! Thank you for telling us here that in April we will soon welcome yet another amazing child! You also showed us in September that we are in serious trouble with Miss Peanut because this kiddo is ALL GIRL... GLAMOUR girl to be exact ~ oy vey! We also were given for the 2nd time the soccer experience but this time I was more involved... you showed us the importance of family participation. Also September brought a new experience of meeting Mr. Phil and Ms. Laurie for the first time (21 years for my hubby); a much needed change of heart for my hubby. Thank you 2011 for new relationships to build upon!

In October you filled your time with fun adventures with Mr. T's school, Mommy's work trips, new firsts (piggy tails for Miss Peanut), awesome friends... you again did not disappoint!

In November you told us we were welcoming another sweet lady to our family and that on Mr. T's 5th birthday we will have our sweet lil' ladybug... thank you for this learning experience, we shall see what she and God has in store for us.

In December you gave us learning experiences and showed us the true meaning of Christmas. You gave us another new family member... sweet Mabelle (please tell your friend 2012 to give us patience to deal with her!!!)

As I sit in the wee hours of your friend, 2012 I look back on you and all I have to say is THANK YOU for being such a blessing... I again just hope that 2012 will be as good (and better) to us as you were!
