Baby Bunny is 5 Months Old!

5 months! OMG can you believe only 5 short months ago we had our sweet Baby Bunny? It blows my mind to think she has only been with us that short of a time... it seems like our family has always been a family of 5! She is so sweet and we ALL love her so much!
Bunny really fits her name, she is such bliss! She has the biggest smile and really gives it to everyone!
I also must admit I feel like I am falling behind... having our sweet Bunny as an addition to our family really takes my time away... I feel like I have blinked and 5 months has passed!
At 5 months old our sweet Bunny can/is doing the following:
  • She weighs over 15 lbs (she's a little chunky monkey :) ~ probably our biggest baby ~ more of her to LOVE I say!)
  • She is over 25 in. tall
  • She is in size 2 diapers
  • She is starting to fit into her 6 month clothing (although depending on the outfit some 3-6 mo still fit)
  • She still wakes 1 to 3 times per night :( Sometimes its once a night and others it has been 3 times ~ there is no rhyme or reason!
  • Her eyes are not exactly blue like her brother and sister... they have more brown in them!! (YEAH ~ we are thinking (and hoping) that they change to brown).
  • Her hair is still really dark; she continues to get more and more (although she still looks sorta bald)
  • We have gone from bi-weekly PT visits to monthly
  • She still is NOT rolling over ~ stubborn little thing!
  • She is working on sitting up
  • She LOVES food! She typically has some cereal in the am and baby food in the evening ~ she has tried all of the stage 1 and pretty much likes it all
  • She does not like grape or pear juice (infant juice) she won't drink it but will tolerate it in her rice cereal ~ but she will drink apple or prune infant juice
  • She has learned that when she sits in her highchair food is coming soon and has learned to wait patiently
  • She still has MiraLAX every day ~ poor little thing still NEEDS it daily
  • She will follow you around a room (that is, if you interest her)
  • She laughs quite often
  • She still mimics sounds you make to her
  • She has started to stick her tongue out at you if you do it to her
  • She has started this "thing" (that we need to quickly get over!) that she ALWAYS wants to be held! And if you aren't holding her she screams her head off!!!
  • She can stand up when holding her hands (her little legs are really strong)
  • She loves her activity center/jumper thing (for a time period)
  • She reaches for things now
  • She arches her back when she wants to come to you (well she does this when Daddy is holding her and she wants to come to me)
  • Over the last month she has even more become a Mommy's girl... ALWAYS wanting me whenever she sees me!
Here you go, the most IMPORTANT part of our monthly blogs (PICTURES) ~
