Mommy & Daddy Time!

Last week we were given the opportunity to go on vacation... JUST Mommy & Daddy!

Looking back, this is the first time since before I was pregnant with Mr. T that we were "kid free" and went somewhere together just the 2 of us.

It was so much fun! We went to visit Phil and Laurie (Ry's dad) in Coldwater, MI (those of you who don't know where that is... Memphis, TN is really close!) We got to see Katie again (this was only the 2nd time) and meet Brittney for the first time!

As much as we missed our sweet kiddos, this was some very needed "alone" time; more importantly ADULT time!

We were VERY blessed that Ry's mom (with a little help from my mom) came to stay with and watch our kiddos. THANK YOU MOM(s)! Seriously you are so amazing!

Anyways, while in MI/TN we not only got to visit with the Tyson side of the family (which is all new to us because Ry reconnected with Phil only last year ~ its been fun getting to know them) but we also got to explore a new "culture" of the South. And we went during Elvis week so it was interesting to see all the Elvis spotting! We visited the Piggly Wiggly (just for my dad!) and went to Mud Island, Beale Street (which is a constant party) and cruised the Mississippi.

Thank you Phil and Laurie for a great time and to get us out there to visit you! We had a great time and cannot wait until we can bring the kids out too!
