Bunny is so full of life, so completely sweet! She pretty much always has a smile on that cute lil' face of hers.
So over the last month we have had some changes in this little Bunny... at 9 months Miss Bunny is doing/can do:
- She weighs about 18 lbs
- Her eyes are NOT blue!!!! Wooohooo! Seriously I am over the hill excited about this one! Don't get me wrong, I love my Peanut and Mr. T's eyes, they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL but! I LOVE brown eyes (duh! Ry's are brown) and I wanted just one of my sweet babies to have them! YEAH one did... well, kinda... hers are more hazel and/or green but they aren't blue!
- Her hair is brown with red highlights and coming in more!
- She has 4 teeth! with more on the way!
- She experienced her very first Christmas which came with meeting Santa for the first time
- She experienced her very first New Years! And no this lil' Bunny did not stay up to ring in the new year, although she gave is a fighting effort!
- She can now go from a crawling/laying position to a sitting position
- She can reach for items with the opposite hand than the side they are on (this is big because it was something that she needed to work on with PT)
- She is pulling herself up on things
- She can come to a kneeling position with some toys
- She is extremely vocal! And when she wants to be heard she lets you know it (from like a mile away)
- She is in size 3 diapers
- She is in size 9 month clothes (although some fit perfectly some are still a little big)
- She went out in her first snow (didn't care for it too much)
- Because of her progress she may not need PT anymore!
- She loves playing with brother and sister's toys (and not her own)
- She is such a mommy's girl... this is seriously an understatement! I have to have her attached to my hip at all times when she sees me. I so much as come into a room without picking her up or acknowledging her she goes CRAZY!
- She almost gives kisses!
- She now drinks from a sippy cup
- She is eating pretty much everything we eat (except meats)... anything I can mash up she eats. She is not eating baby food as easily anymore, unless we are eating it. She has this thing where if she doesn't see me or one of the kids eating it she won't eat it, she wants what we have (well I would too!)
- Over the last month she attended her first wedding
- She has started to dance, when she hears music she rocks back and forth
- She has started to clap
- She giggles at the weirdest things! But I LOVE her giggle!
- She LOVES our animals
- She LOVES to cuddle! She has even started to give hugs!
- When she is tired, you know it (and its sweet moments like this I love), she will put her head down on "my" shoulder (I put my in "" only because like I mentioned earlier, she is attached to my hip!)
- She absolutely will take ANYTHING her brother dishes out to her... be it carrying her around or just sitting with her she loves it
- She absolutely LOVES her brother and sister! You can tell because she lights up when they come around her!
And now for the not so (potential) news we found out this month...
We took the girls in for a blood test, see my niece was diagnosed with Celiac disease and because my girls were showing symptoms that Domi did around their ages (or my girls being younger than she was) so because they were showing these symptoms we took them to see Dr. Sipes and we all agreed it would be good to test the girls for this. Peanut's panel came back normal. Bunny's, not so much! :( She has a spike on one of the tests that Dr. Sipes wants another opinion on. So they are sending us back to the GI dr. After talking to my sister, the item Bunny had a spike on might be the same thing that Domi has. As of right now we don't know anything... but we do know that she is supposed to be in the 0-9 range for this portion of the test and she came in at 15. I was told that she has a gluten intolerance. But not to worry... UM HELLO!!! How the heck can I not worry??? But that we have to wait for the GI dr. to call us. So we wait! AHHHHHH! It's killing me! BUT if this is something she has, whether it be Celiac disease or just a gluten intolerance, we treat it the same and she needs to be gluten, wheat and oat free :( poor girl! It will be a lifestyle change, not for the whole family because that's not good for everyone but honestly, I have never had to deal with a type of allergy where I have to make sure someone doesn't eat this or that or actually read labels... but we will have to adjust. And I will do it happily if it helps our lil' Bunny!
Enough of that... I will keep you all up-to-date as I get more info.
Here's for the good part:
