Mr. & Mrs. Carter ~ Gettin' Hitched!

Yep, that's right my sister took the plunge! She got married!

I couldn't be happier for her (and her choice in men too!) Brandi and Marshall make such a cute couple!

This marriage came as no surprise to any of us, it was just a matter of time BUT when the wedding was such a surprise! A week before, YES you read that right... ONE WEEK before the date they wanted to get married she called me asking how long it would take me to make invitations. Of course it doesn't take me long at all but seriously, ONE WEEK??? My question was, how would she pull this off?

Well, here's how it went down:
1. She called me a couple of days before the 1 week countdown and asked me "how long does it take you to do invitations, I mean how long can you get something ready to mail?" I immediately knew what she meant and I said, "when do you need them and how many?" Of course she meant NOW! OMG! Well, YES I can do that but SERIOUSLY?? I digress, she came over the next night and we designed the invites, I printed the next night and gave them to her on Saturday... here is how they turned out... not too bad I must say!

Then she went back and forth A LOT between what else she wanted but she asked me for some center piece decor and water bottle labels and tags ~ all to match the invite. I also made her an established sign to put on the cake table.

2. She made her flowers
3. Marlene, Marshall's mom, made the food for the wedding ~ I was asked to make the meal (while still in the decision stages); good thing I didn't have to!
4. Brandi actually found her dress at Ross (of all places) for like $25! SCORE!
5. We went shopping for the kid's attire and mine
6. I was asked to be the photographer for the wedding... AHHHH! Really? Awe thanks! Was my first reaction which quickly turned into me being scared as to would I do a good job? I mean I have done a wedding before but this is for my sister! It has to be perfect!
7. Mr. T was asked to be the ring bearer; I asked her if I could make a special ring bearer sign... she said yes! Woohoo!
8. Peanut was asked to be the flower girl ~ this girl is such a HAM! She loved every single second of this "job" and took such pride in it and loved throwing the flowers!
9. Domi was kind of like a junior bride's maid
10. I not only was her photographer but I was also her witness
11. Kelly, her new FIL was asked to be the DJ (his hobby)
12. THEN time was up and the wedding was here!

Oh and did I mention... she chopped off her hair the DAY of the wedding? I mean WHO does that?

Overall, I'd say it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

I ended up taking 600 pictures! Yes you read that right, SIX HUNDRED! These pictures ended up being some of the better ones while still keeping the BEST ones for just Brandi and Marshall! I think she was happy with my work!
