Princess Peanut is 4 months old!

Oh my how time flys.... I find myself saying that every month at this time!

Well over the last month Peanut has had a lot of progression in her PT! We are happy to announce that as of last appointment (October 18) her flat spot is completely gone! YEAH! See with determination and consistency ANYTHING can happen (not that her flat spot was that bad, but it was bad enough). ~ Thanks to Mom and Mimi for their help with Peanut's progression.

It seems as if this last month Peanut has done a lot of new things...milestones if you will.

At 4 months Peanut is doing:

• Smiles ALL of the time ~ STILL, probably one of the happiest babies I have ever seen!
• Laughs! YES a fairy was born (LOL) ~ She hasn't gotten that belly laugh yet but its a laugh!
• Is super alert and follows you around the room with her eyes
• Still only wakes up once per night and it is usually around 3 am (she changed her time from last month), although lately she has been waking more because she hasn't felt well
• She drinks approximately 7 - 4oz bottles a day (and is slowly moving up to 6oz)
• Started eating rice cereal
• Her hair is still light brown like Mommy's (and actually might be lightning even more)
• Her eyes are still blue (not that we really expected them to change over the last month, they haven't yet)  ~ VERY much has Mommy's eyes, with super long eyelashes
• Last month she looked exactly like Daddy (besides the eyes she looked just like his baby pictures) BUT this month she is starting to look more like Mommy (sorry Daddy)
• She is over 12 lbs
• She still loves to cuddle
• She "talks" to us more and more ~ and she responds when you talk to her (more of the time than last month), actually she is a regular babbler (see below, push play)

• She goes to bed around 8-830 pm (just like big brother)
• She LOVES Mommy singing to her while rocking to go to sleep (ok really she does, it calms her down when she is fussy and helps put her to sleep... it's only one song though, "Hush Little Baby")
• She is still beginning to get her 1st tooth! And is constantly drooling!
• She can roll over but I am not sure if she knows it yet, she is still struggling with this one
• She puts her hands up to her bottle when we feed her... possibly starting to get the concept to holding it
• She got her first official cold :( this isn't a good milestone
• She went swimming for the first time
• She now splashes with brother in the shower (we put her in her bumbo and place her on the floor of the shower while we take our shower and she loves to splash with brother)
• When doing tummy time she tries to get her legs up under her like she is trying to crawl (WAY too soon for that but it sure is funny to watch)
• She was without Mommy for an entire week for the 1st time this month (Mommy had a work trip... harder for Mommy than Peanut)
• Peanut has started grabbing for toys (she especially likes her ladybug toy she has)
• Peanut has a "thing" for Daddy, she is in complete awe of him and gazes at him all the time (lately he gets more smiles than anyone else)
