Busy Busy Busy!

I think that is an understatement! Between home, kids and work you would think I have enough to do but NO I pile it all on!

It wasn't enough that I just went all out for Ry's 30th but I also tacked on a Christmas present (late I might add) for our dear friends Lacy & Steven AND birthday invitations/ banner for Dominique AND handmade Valentine's for Bubba's class all the while trying to get ideas for Bubba's Star Wars birthday (yes I know that isn't for awhile but you know me!)

So needless to say these last couple of weeks have been very busy and crafty! So busy in fact I didn't even have time to make thank you cards for Ry (but I must add here... he is a big boy and can pull a card out and write a little thank you himself! He is not Bubba, I don't have to write it for him ~ enough said!)

Anyways I wanted to share some of my crafty projects lately:

This is the RIVERA name plaque-thingy I made for Lacy and Steven (story behind this is that Lacy asked where I got the one in my kitchen because she wanted one... I told her I made it and I would make her one for Christmas).

 Finished product in all its glory ~ I am really happy how it turned out

Custom painted tan edges throughout ~ Lacy chose the color, mine is red (to match our decor, this matches hers obviously)

THEN there is Domi's 5th birthday invitations:

REALLY happy with this one, I am using a new program called Corel and learning the ins and outs of it. The back of the invitation also has some graphics along with directions to the party ~ the front is the most important

THEN there is the banner:

Again using Corel to design this. Again really happy how this is coming together ~ still under construction! I have printed all of the letters HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOMINIQUE (all different Tangled pictures) but I still have to string the banner itself. I am going to do this by braiding yellow yarn and putting it all together! It is going to be awesome! I will post a picture of the completed banner later, just wanted to give you an idea!

THEN there is the handmade Valentine's for Bubba's class:

These aren't my actual ones but this is what they will look like ~ I am still in the process of making these (will post a picture once they are complete)

These are SUPER cute little pillow boxes in the shape of an alligator ~ they are gonna love them! I am putting fruit snacks inside them instead of candy for his class. We are making heart-shaped cookies this weekend for the class! Although these are cute, they are A LOT of work! Lots of cutting and gluing!

THEN I am making homemade oatmeal raisin cookies for my dad for tomorrow... its his birthday and those are his fav! Not to mention those cookies we are making this weekend for Bubba's class!

Oh and I forgot... THEN there is trying to put together a scrap book of everything from the 30th birthday party!

Boy I know how to keep busy!
