As a part of the event Bubba was allowed (if he wore his uniform) to walk the field in a parade of little leaguers... of course we did this! At first we were concerned because we were told that parents were not allowed on the field with our kiddos... I'd be damned if my 4 year old is going without me! I digress... we went with our enthusiastic 4 year old on the parade o' little leaguers. Thankfully we were able to get tickets (last minute I may add... the president of the league... well let's just say he is one of a kind... he gave me not 5 (which is what I ordered) but 10 tickets! So I got to keep 3 extra) for my parents and Danielle. THANKFULLY they were able to go because if it were just Ry and I with both kids that would have been quite the task! So... while we waited outside (for about an hour I might add... in Phoenix nonetheless) for the parade to start my parents had Peanut with them in the stadium (air conditioned I must add). Finally the parade started... our little man was so excited to be up on the BIG field (and quite frankly I think so was Daddy)... we walked with the only other person from our team Ashlyn (and the only girl as well ~ that chick can hit!).
