We had so many family and special friends attend this beautiful event ~ MANY thanks to: Grandma & Grandpa, Nana, Papa, Danielle, Auntie Brandi (Godmother), Uncle Marshall, Dominique, Auntie Shonna (Godmother), Uncle Ron, Nin, Chele, Nic (who came all the way from PA ~ many thanks), Auntie Lacy, Uncle Steven, Makayla, Maddie, Marriah, Mary "Mimi" (our beloved baby sitter), Sam, Whitney, Cam, Auntie Tina (LOVE YOU ~ thanks for your help), Kayleigh, Cael (Super trooper), Chariese & Anna (taking photos ~ cannot wait to see), Angie and Matt (who did the dedication). You all made this very special!
We were all a little late... I told people to come to my house because I didn't want them getting lost to the park (which happened anyways lol) and we walked over ~ mistake #1! It was SOOOOO hot! However the location was beautiful and had lots of shade. So once everyone got there we started... I wanted to begin to tell everyone thank you for coming and that this means a lot to us that Matt performed this because Matt also married Ryan and I; it completes our circle (although it also would have been awesome to have my best friend in the whole world do the dedication; Lacy but she could not ~ would have loved them to do it together). Anyways, Matt has been a big part of my life and helped shape who I am as a Christian... and hopefully made some sort of impact on Ryan as well. But it meant the world to me that we had everyone there that was! Lots of prayers for our family and children!
This event also sits heavy on my heart because I don't feel like I have been living right with Christ; I have not taught my children or husband everything I know I should have been about Jesus and God... so for me it is a new beginning to be able to do so. We are believers and we should be living in HIS light... this is a brand new start. And I must mention here that recently we have started going to church... AS A FAMILY! So again this is super special for me! God is working in our lives and this was one event... he is working on others but I cannot share that at this time (soon though).
So we had our pictures (I have some but the majority were taken from Chariese of RED Photography) taken with various family members and Mimi... now thinking about it I WISH I had gotten pictures with the Rivera family and our cousins and Tina & her kids * insert story here ~ below, but whatyagonnado?

*Mistake # 2: Story about Tina and her kids... poor Cael was playing as all the other kids were and all of a sudden during a big group photo I see Mary running toward the table and Tina running toward Cael. Poor lil' monkey had fallen on a picnic table and almost bit through his lip! Tina had blood everywhere! And lil' monkey aka Super Trooper was crying. I was SOOOO worried for him~ obviously so was Tina! But all was ok and we got him back to our house and cleaned him up a little more and gave him a popcicle and he was happy. SCARY!!! Glad he was ok but seriously lil man DON'T DO THAT! Lol
As our special thank you for those who attended the dedication my sweet friend Tina helped me by making cake pops and I created a special tag for them ~
