Princess Peanut is 1 YEAR old!!!!

To even write those words... 1 YEAR is a big gulp for me... my baby, my precious little butterfly has graced us for 1 whole year! And I praise God every day for her (actually for both of my angels). She is a light in the dark and a voice to our song, she is really a ray of sunshine. We are blessed more because she is in our life. Thank you Lord for allowing us to have her!

Today is so so so special because SHE is so special.

So as promised this was going to be a special blog (and although it is because this is my 12th post regarding this specific subject on Peanut, I have maintained for exactly 12 months; tried every month to do it on the 26th and for most months have stayed true to that); but this blog is extra special because at 1 year old our Peanut can:

• WALK!!!
• 2 videos from the 1st time CLICK on them to view!

YES you read that right... our Peanut took her very first steps (holding on to her new stroller that Nana, Papa and Danielle got her for her birthday) on none other than FATHER'S DAY! I am so proud of her... and since that day she has gotten better and moving faster! One little step (no pun intended) closer to no more PT (although we miss Dr. Kelsey!)

Other things our Peanut is doing/can do are:

• She weighs over 19lbs (we will see on Tuesday exactly how much she weighs at her 1 year Dr. apt)
• She is in size 3 diapers
• She is fully in size 12 month clothes (she can still fit 9 month but I have switched her up) ~ and she got some CUTE new clothes for her birthday!
• She still HATES anything going over her head (mainly clothes)
• She has about 8 teeth now, 3 on the bottom and 5 on the top (maybe more or maybe one less... I am NOT putting a finger in that little mouth because she BITES!!!)
• Peanut had her first (and hopefully ONLY) surgery on Tuesday June 21st ~ to see the blog about her tube surgery CLICK here
• Peanut also TALKS ~ she can say the following words: Mama, Mommy, Dada, Daddy, Bubba, Papa, key, what's that, hit, yeah, yes, hi, bye, done, thank you, happy, brother, baby, Bella (my mom's dog), don't, no, she is trying to say doggie (Caster), dee dee (this is what she calls her blankie ~ how you get dee dee from blankie is beyond me but a friend's daughter does the same), and probably some other words that I haven't caught
• She does not want you to feed her (although sometimes she puts up with it because I make her) she would 10x rather feed herself!
• And although she has started walking (pushing something) she still crawls like a speed racer!
• Last month she started pulling herself up, this month she continues to do that but she is so quick at it now, just this morning she was tugging on my pants and then I turned and realized she was holding on and standing!
• She continues to have blond BLOND hair ~ funny to write that because just one year earlier I was saying she had BLACK hair!
• Her hair is starting to get wavy in the back! Yeah!
• Still bright blue eyes
• She is a fish! She LOVES to swim!
• She sings and dances (WHENEVER there is music playing, even my phone when it rings)
• She has the goofiest (and cutest) smile ~ she scrunches her nose... Ry doesn't think its all that cute but I LOVE it!
• During the last month she has started going to church and just yesterday got dedicated (post on that next as well)
• And lastly, she had her very 1st Birthday party on Saturday (post on that next!)
