This year we have a GOOD team... the kiddos picked and we are the Ninjas! We have 2 of the same boys as we did last year (James & Seth... Bubba too); we gained another 2 boys and 3 girls!
This year is a little different... I am coaching as well! Well, sort of, see with Ry's new job we have to be more flexible and in the event he gets a call (when he is on-call) ~ and during the first game the true colors of being on-call shined! I need to be ready to step in when he needs to take that call... I think we did a great job when it happened.
Anywhoo back to our game... we aren't supposed to keep track of score in Peewee but because they thought we were U6 we had a ref and they did... we scored 18 to 0 ~ goals were made by Seth, James, Kaiden and LOGAN!!!! We are SOOOOO SOOOOO SOOOOO proud of Bubba (well the whole team but for a moment I will boast on my own kiddo... typically we do NOT show him favoritism on the field, not even a little, he is never the first in a game, etc.) anyways he made at least 4 (if not more) of our 18 goals! He had control of the ball and he even passed (so did Seth). Huge change from last year!
