This was our first trip to Vegas in a LONG time! (we haven't been since July) and while we were there Ry and I wanted to go to the mall (we have one but its just not that big); so off to the mall we went... while there I was pleasantly reminded just how small of a town we live in. When we walked out into the main part of the mall Mr. T was overwhelmed!
He was overwhelmed because it was 2 levels! And while we were in Kohl's he was amazed at the escalator (YES you read that right, escalator!) He wanted to ride up and down a million times! (and he did! ~ Grandma humors him so well). Up and down, up and down... every time we saw one he wanted to ride it. And Princess Peanut was amazed at the elevator (it was a glass one that you could watch as you were going down).
This was so cute, funny too! But also made me VERY happy... I realized that we sort of shelter our children that they do not associate malls with these sort of things; instead they associate life with being outdoors (with a lake within 10 minutes of wherever they are). To me that is AWESOME!!
Here are pictures (because you KNOW I am that sort of mom) of Mr. T going up and down on the escalator:
Up we go...
SERIOUSLY! Look at that smile!
And back down we go...
