I know every year it is "the thing" to have a New Year's Resolution... so of course Ryan and I partook in that tradition and this year our resolutions are:
Me ~ Lose weight... 29 lbs to be exact and to workout and eat healthier; and I must admit that I have successfully worked out 2 days this week (my goal is 5) and I have joined a new website called myfitnesspal.com to help me track my calorie intake and exercise (its much like Weight Watchers but only FREE! Which I LOVE)
Ryan ~ Stop cussing as much; and probably some personal ones that he hasn't really shared with me
Us ~ Stop eating out as often and save money! We have set a goal to see how long we can go without eating out (so far we have gone all 5 days of 2011!) we also want to save money so that Ryan can go with me to Alaska when I go in April for work (since my portion of the trip will be completely paid for and this will be that LAST time we go for work).
*Also my Resolution is that I am going to get Bubba to help out around the house more... and create a chore list (of sorts) for him. This came about because he has had an increasingly want to help us more... especially in the kitchen (and I am going to take advantage of it while I can). He has already started to help put the dishes away (its super cute... he gets up on the counter and I hand him dish by dish. This process takes FOREVER but he is part of it so I will keep it going as long as I can). He has also been better about cleaning up his toys and helping to make his bed. He has also started to help with Peanut when we need him (he has pretty much always done this but now he is doing it without us asking!).
So... this year is going to be GREAT! I am going to try not to break my resolution... I need to lose this weight for me! And I think the things we want to do as a family will only help our family in the long run!
