I am NOT Super Mom!

Over the last week I have realized something... I am NOT (I repeat I am NOT) Super Mom!

Now I know I post lots of blogs saying what all we (or I am) up to and to some of my readers (friends) it appears that I am Super Mom, always packing on tasks or new projects.

But reality caught up with me last week! For the first time in a very LONG time I was sick last week... very sick! We are talking so sick that I actually went to the Urgent Care for meds! And because I am usually knee-deep in everything both at home and at work (and Bubba's school) I wasn't able to do anything I normally do. Being sick really took a toll on me, I wasn't even really able to play with my 2 favorite people!

Then to make matters worse, BOTH kiddos have ear infections! Yes you read that right, BOTH KIDDOS! Looks like we have an appointment to go back to the ENT with Bubba in the very near future and hopefully Peanut kicks these things because if it doesn't stop with her we will be seeing Dr. Strausser more than we would like this year!

So, over the last week I have realized that I cannot be knee-deep in everything because I spread myself too thin and I end up sicker than a dog! BUT on a happy side note, I lost 5 lbs while being sick! Woohoo! Hopefully I can keep them off!
