Yesterday we had Bunny's 2 mo appointment with our AMAZING doctor, Dr. Sipes.
Overall Baby Bunny is doing perfect and is just beautiful... she is in the 10th percentile for weight, coming in at 10 lbs 9 oz and in the 5th percentile for height standing 21.5 inches tall (I guess they were wrong last Thursday when we measured her).
A main concern I had was everything that we have been dealing with and the reason we went down to see the GI specialist last Thursday. What we found out is that our sweet Bunny not only has acid reflux but also gerd AND constipation! Poor girl! So here we are, what do you do for a newborn??? We are treating the constipation first then dealing with the rest. I am happy to report that she is doing much better. Each day we give her MiraLax and it really seems to be helping.
The other concern I have had since her birth (and not because she has it but because I am paranoid) is about her head... I am happy to report at this point her head is perfectly round with no signs that Peanut had!
Dr. Sipes was very impressed with how strong Bunny is... already holding her head up so well and how strong she pushes her legs. YEAH for Bunny!
