Princess Peanut is 2 months old!

Holy Crap where does the time go?! It feels like just yesterday I was in labor with this lil' princess and now she is already 2 months old! Its a little bittersweet because on one hand I feel like she has been here all along and on the other she is so brand new!

Well in one month's time for this lil' peanut things have changed... she is now in full-time daycare because sadly this mommy had to go back to work. BUT not to worry, she is being taken care of by our beloved "Mimi" Mary. Mary has watched Logan since he was 9 months old and we LOVE her!

Month 2 has pulled out even more personality for this little girl! She continues to be a GREAT baby! She is so easy-going! Here are some new things about our little peanut:

• Her hair is continuing to lighten
• Her eyes are still blue (not that we really expected them to change over the last month) and we expect that they will stay the beautiful blue they are
• She is probably close to 10 lbs now (we will verify on Monday but we took her and got her weighted on 8/9 and she was 9 lbs 15 oz ~ my little chunky monkey)
• She drinks about 6- 4 oz bottles throughout the day (and she sometimes makes those 4 oz 5 oz, she is inbetween) ~ this little girl doesn't skip a mean (lol)
• She is still a MESSY eater! (BUT super cute)
• She still loves to cuddle
• She "talks" to us more and more ~ and she responds when you talk to her (some of the time)
• She is an extremely happy baby, always smiling
• She has started to recogonize Mommy and knows my voice and smiles when I talk ~ when I went to pick her up one day she was sound asleep but once she heard my voice she woke up with a smile AND when Daddy was talking to her she was all smiles... I said "hi pretty girl" from across the room and she got the BIGGEST smile Ry has ever sceen
• She has started to recogonize Big Brother and laughs at him
• She contiunues to be more alert and awake
• She has started to really like her Princess Peanut elefant and laughs at it
• She has started to only wake us 1 time per night ~ hopefully this keeps up

We will have a health update as of Monday but for now that is what our little peanut is doing, I know she is healthy (but we sadly have to get shots ~ poor Peanut!). She is a happy baby and we LOVE having her around!
