As Logan (and Reese, but mainly Logan)'s big Christmas gift this year we took the family (and Grandma) to Disneyland (thank you to all that gave the kiddos $$ for their gifts... it was MUCH appreciated!) So we left for CA on December 23... EARLY!!! Not before we had a little mishap with our Peanut girl (she got sick ALL over Daddy... of which he was NOT happy about). And on our drive through Prescott it SNOWED! There was a lot of snow along White Spar... so we took it slow. But the snow really helped get us into the Christmas spirit.
Once we arrived in CA (it was about noon ~ a long journey for our little troopers) Logan wanted to go to Disneyland... poor Bubba didn't understand that we had to wait until the next day to go. We had thought about going to the beach (just to see it) but didn't want to subject our little troopers to more riding in the car. So instead all of us (Grandma beat us to CA by about 20 minutes) went over to Downtown Disney for some lunch and browsing!
For lunch we treated Grandma to Mexican food (which in my opinion could have been better... maybe it was the excitement of it all I expected better??) But Peanut got to experience for the first time guacamole. I don't think she liked it!
The look of disgust!
Kisses for Grandma... he was SO excited to see her
So amazingly cute!
Minnie beanie?
Even the small infant ears were too big for her!
Lego Darth Vadar!
Lego Woody! So cool
Arrgh! This be one cute pirate matey!
After all of that we were finally able to get our room and start "unpacking" ~ going somewhere for Christmas with little ones take so MUCH work! I seriously think it took us like 5 trips back and forth to the car!Admiring our Christmas tree that Grandma brought... cause what would Christmas be without a tree hotel or not?
This little Princess was TIRED!
I am so happy I took a picture of this... he wrote his name! WOW my little man is getting so big (and smart!)
Next blog... Day 1 ~ Christmas Eve at Disneyland! Warning MORE pictures than writing!
