Christmas... Day 1 ~ Christmas Eve

The excitement overcame us and all of us were up at 3am! (the adults that is)... so we decided that we would use our early pass to get into the park for Christmas Eve early. BOY was that a GREAT idea!

So we got to the park at 7am and went straight to Fantasyland where we road Peter Pan, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo (which Logan LOVED, Reese too), Tea Cups, Snow White, It's a Small World (which Peanut fell asleep on), Matterhorn ~ we pretty much got everything Fantasyland had to offer.
Waiting in line for our very first Disneyland ride ~ Reese's 1st ride EVER!
Peter Pan's Flight
 Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
 Dumbo!
Tea Cups... the 1st was posed! Then off to the real thing

 On the Tea Cups
Getting ready for It's a Small World
 Almost got all of us!
I loved the Christmas spin on the ride... plus all of the additions of the Disney movies to each of the scenes!
She fell asleep

We had Logan get on the Matterhorn because he was so excited to see the Abominable Snowman; it was so cute because once we got off we asked Bubba if he liked the ride... he said yes but he didn't want to ride it again! ~ no pictures of that one... sorry!

After Fantasyland it was off to Toon Town! But it wasn't open yet (Bubba cried... we had to wait until 9am to go to that part of the park). So instead we went to go eat in Tomorrow Land Terrace.

After breakfast off to Toon Town! First thing we went on was Roger Rabbit... because the line was short and it is typically really long. BUT Bubba wasn't happy about it because he wanted to go see Mickey. Then off to Mickey's house... this was bittersweet... I didn't know Mickey was standing right inside the door and once Bubba saw him he gave Mickey the LONGEST hug ever! It was so sweet, as if 2 friends hugging after not seeing each other for a very long time. Its moments like these that make it all worth the trip!
 Meeting hug! So precious
Talking to Mickey
The whole fam

In Toon Town we did everything there too! Bubba liked the roller coaster... a lot! We even met Minnie and Goofy! Goofy sure is goofy! He wouldn't stop moving to take a picture... it was so funny!
 Meeting Minnie
I love this one... Look at Peanut! She is like who are you?
Driving outside Goofy's house... oh wait there is Goofy himself!
He was so funny... he wouldn't stay still we had to keep moving with him

After Toon Town it was off to Splash Mountain! Bubba didn't really like that ride... he again said it was fun but didn't want to go again. We also made it a point to go on the Haunted Mansion (since they turn it into the Nightmare Before Christmas ~ the WHOLE reason we wanted to take Bubba at this time of year ~ its his favorite)... but sadly he didn't like it :( After the Mansion we went on Pirates... he did like that one, Peanut did too.
Waiting to go into the Mansion

 So cute!
Something about this pic of him just gets me... he doesn't even look like a toddler anymore!

(NOTE: I mention Bubba more because this was more about him BUT our little Peanut had a blast too... I think the excitement of the colors was fun for her because she was constantly looking around).

Somewhere in there we saw the parade... Bubba watched it (Mommy and Grandma were too short).

Bubba took Grandma and Daddy on the Jungle Cruise and honestly I do not remember what I was doing with Peanut... oh yeah she was asleep so I waited outside. After they returned we (Ry and I) went with Bubba on Tarzan's Tree House... that was a fun moment just the 3 of us. After that Daddy and Mommy had a moment just the 2 of us on Indiana Jones (FUN!)

He did not like this bridge
My little captain ~ set sail for cuteness!
Poor little guy had to pee ~ you can see it in his face here

Then it was about time for dinner which we had reservations at the Blue Bayou (a family tradition when we go to Disneyland). Dinner started out really good, the company the food it was all perfect until... until Peanut got sick all over Grandma. Now mind you this is the 4th or 5th time she has gotten sick! So away to the side of the door I went to call our AWESOME doctor (on Christmas Eve I remind you). Within minutes Dr. Sipes called me back; off of formula she went and onto Pedilite! Poor Peanut. So after that we all went back to the room (and Daddy and Mommy went to find a store that was open for Pedilite).

The kids crashed! Literally, Bubba didn't even get into his Christmas pjs!

Stay tuned... Day 2 ~ Christmas Day is to come (but tomorrow because this was one LONG post)!
