To me this month has seemed to come a lot quicker than any of the rest... probably because it was the Christmas season and I had a lot going on!
Another month and more progress with our little Peanut!
At 6 months Peanut is:
- She weighs 14 lbs 6 oz (a very healthy little girl, not too big not too small)
- She continues to be an extremely happy baby
- She loves her big brother and is memorized with everything he does - she actually gets mad if he doesn't say hello to her when he comes into the room
- She has slept through the night multiple times (although since she has been sick that hasn't happened)
- She continues to eat baby food ~ and enjoys it (when she sees the food she starts getting excited)
- She is now in stage 2 food
- She still wears size 2 diapers
- She is in size 6 month clothes (but still can fit into some 3/6 month items)
- Her hair is a strawberry blond... much like Mommy's (as a kid)
- Her eyes are as blue as the sky and as beautiful as diamonds in sunlight!
- She continues to talk all of the time! And she has started to mimic what we say (at least the sounds) - she also responds when you say hi to her with something that sounds similar to hi
- She can roll over (although she doesn't prefer to)
- She ate ice cream for the 1st time and got mad at me when I took it away
- She has been switched out of her baby swing to the big girl swing (because she was trying to turn over in it)
- She prefers to sleep on her side (which is good because her PT dr. wants her to do this)
- She had her 1st Christmas as well as her 1st vacation and riding her 1st ride!
Well on to the pictures:
Peanut reading her sign!
Holding her bottle!
Sleeping so peaceful!
Meeting JoAnn for the 1st time
She learned she loves bells
Mommy give it back! I want more ice cream
Waiting to see big brother's Christmas performance
1st Christmas
She is tentatively watching her big brother here
Peanut has PT on Monday so we will see how she is doing with that but I have a feeling that she is doing very well in this area!
I LOVE having this little Princess in our life... she makes our family complete!
